Dispute Process

When you do not receive your order or it is significantly not as described, we recommend you take the following steps to solve the problem.
1. Contact the seller instantly about the problem and if no response received, you open a dispute to draw his attention.
2. You and the seller negotiate in dispute communication in the following 20 days.
3. Problem solved and TradeTang follow up with the agreement reached or problem can not be solved and you escalate the dispute after it is filed for 5 days.
4. TradeTang look into escalated case and make final decisions.
1. What to do if the item cannot meet my satisfaction?
You are advised to check the package before sign for it. If you have accepted it and find it damaged or wrong, you need to contact the seller immediately to solve the problem. And you should not confirm delivery which allows you no more chance of disputing.
2. How to file a dispute and how to escalate a dispute?
You will be able to open a dispute for an order shipped for 4 days. If seller is not cooperative or you find it hard to resolve your concern with the seller, you need to escalate it, which is an option available only after dispute is open for 5 days.
To open a dispute
1) Sign in
2) Find the order you want to dispute with in shipped list of your account
3) Under Action, click Dispute
4) Select dispute reason as Item Not Received or Items significantly Not as Described; Upload photos to support the dispute; Leave your detailed explanation for the problem under Comment
5) Submit
To escalate a dispute
a) Sign in
b) Find the order in dispute order list
c) Under Action, click Escalate Dispute
d) Select dispute reason, your preferred solutions, upload photos and explanation
e) Submit
3. How to communicate with seller after a dispute is opened?
Once a dispute is filed, you surely will tell the seller what is wrong and the seller will be forced to work out a solution for your reference. We offer options of resending, partial refund, full refund upon item returned and delivered and others. You need to make sure the seller is not just coaxing you into closing the dispute. If he suggests partial refund, you must ask him the amount and if you agree to return the item, his address is needed.

D) Check the offered solution from seller. Click the circle before Agree or Disagree

4. If the seller fails to communicate about the dispute, what can I do?
When seller is reluctant to communicate, you are suggested to report it by escalating the dispute.
5. Why my dispute is closed before it is solved?
TradeTang is not supposed to get involved before you escalate the dispute.
Buyer and seller have ten days to work out a solution for a dispute. When the time runs out, the dispute will be closed automatically. During the course, we send you emails alarm you the deadline and remind you to escalate it if your communication does not go well. You can escalate a dispute 5 days after it is opened. An escalated dispute will be open until it is solved.
6. How does TradeTang solve a dispute?
You and seller can not communicate directly at this stage and TradeTang Dispute Team will help to solve the problem. When escalating the dispute, we ask you for reason, evidence and preferred solutions for us to look into the case. We send emails to both sides on update and ask for details. With information collected, we will try best to make judge impartially. The solution may favor the other side if one side fails to respond in time or has no proof.
7. What should I do after escalating a dispute?
TradeTang dispute team will contact you the next business days on the issue. Thus, you have to check your email to make sure you have received our specialist’s mail and gives timely reply. If we can not hear from you in 5 days or you fail to send evidence in due course, we may think that you have been satisfied with the order.
