Introduction to the Shanghai Textile Machinery Exhibition:
The China International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITMA ASIA+CITME) is a joint effort between the "China International Textile Machinery Exhibition" and "ITMA ASIA". It is a collaborative action taken by the world's most important textile machinery industry associations, including those from China, European countries, and Japan, to protect the interests of textile machinery manufacturers and customers worldwide and to improve the quality of textile machinery exhibitions.
The China Textile Machinery Association, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers and its member associations, as well as major global textile machinery associations such as the Textile Machinery Association of America, the Japan Textile Machinery Association, the Korea Textile Machinery Association, and the Taiwan Machinery Industry Association, have all solemnly declared that the " China Shanghai Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITMA ASIA+CITME) " is the only exhibition in China that they strongly support.
This year's Shanghai Textile Machinery Exhibition attracted 100,000 professional visitors from 105 countries and regions worldwide, setting new records in both quantity and quality. Domestic visitors came from 31 provinces and municipalities, with Guangdong, Fujian, Xinjiang, Shanxi, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hebei, and Anhui all experiencing growth exceeding 50%. Overseas visitors came from 104 countries and regions, accounting for over 13% of the total. India was the leading source of overseas visitors, while significant increases were seen in the number of professional visitors from Iran, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Turkey. Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Thailand even participated in group tours for the first time.
This year's textile machinery exhibition showcased the characteristics of "high speed, intelligence, and green" in both technology and demand. Knitting machinery saw accelerated iteration, continuously improving in efficiency, capacity, and intelligence. For example, in computerized flat knitting machines, fully-fledged knitting technology is becoming a trend; circular knitting machines and warp knitting machines are leveraging digital technologies to enhance speed, quality, and expand application scope. Weaving and preparation machinery are innovating and upgrading to meet customers' demands for high speed, high efficiency, green technology, and small-batch, multi-variety production. Water jet looms, rapier looms, and sheathing devices have made significant progress in stable high speed, energy saving, quality applicability, and flexible response capabilities.
