Founded in 1986, the Indonesian International Auto Show (GIIAS) showcases the achievements of Indonesia's automotive industry to the world, and GAIKINDO will continue to demonstrate the future of the automotive industry through GAIIAS.
Building on the positive spirit of the Indonesian automotive industry over the years, GAIKINDO will once again host GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the largest international auto show in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
As a member of the Organization of International Motor Manufacturers (OICA), GIIAS is widely recognized as a state-of-the-art automotive platform, showcasing the technology, debuts, launches, and brand promotion of domestic automotive brands. The Indonesian International Auto Show (GIIAS) is a comprehensive exhibition highlighting innovation, covering passenger cars, commercial vehicles, automobiles, motorcycles, and supporting industry brands.
According to the organizers, the exhibition achieved sales of over 38,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 12%. Meanwhile, the number of visitors reached 485,600, breaking recent records and fully demonstrating the market's attention to and enthusiasm for the development of the automotive industry.
Industry insiders analyze that with the expansion of the middle class and the acceleration of consumption upgrading, the Indonesian car market is releasing strong demand, and exhibitions like GIIAS have become an important stage for brands to launch new models and showcase the latest technologies.
The Indonesian International Auto Show (GIIAS) is not simply driven by sales figures, but rather focuses on promoting the long-term development of the entire automotive industry. Through the exhibition, the organizers hope to build a platform for exchange among upstream and downstream players in the industry chain, promoting technology sharing, market expansion, and international cooperation.
“Trade is not the only goal of the exhibition, but this year’s results have undoubtedly injected new momentum into the industry,” said Yohannes Nangoi. “GIIAS is becoming a bellwether for the Indonesian automotive industry, witnessing both sales breakthroughs and technological and conceptual innovations.”
In the future, the Indonesian International Auto Show (GIIAS) will continue to fulfill its mission of driving industrial transformation, serving as a vital bridge connecting the market and the future.
